Construction has been completed on the new McKinley County Sheriff’s Office building, located at 1000 E. Aztec Avenue in Gallup, and the department is starting to move into the renovated building. That process could take several more weeks as they await the delivery of furniture and other items needed for daily operations. The beautiful new space increases the departments footprint from 8,000 to 14,000 square feet and features better facilities for officers as well as a state of the art training room.
